Andorra

I’ve gone to different places, Murcia, Navarra and Andorra, but I’m going to talk about my trip to Andorra. We arrived to our hotel, that was in front of caldea, a spa, and was next the center where are the shops and restaurants. The trip to Murcia was for stay in the beach and this trip was for to go to the mountain, then the first day at the morning we were in the mountain, the landscaped were very beautiful . At the evening we were visiting the city. The next day we were also to the mountains and later I spoke with a friend, he told me he was there, in Andorra during these days and then when we were in the hotel he called me and when I went out, he was there. We were all day walking on the city, and speaking about many things because we don't meet usually. The last day I went with my mother to caldea, there all was perfect, nice and very beautiful. That was a nice experience that I want return to do.

The Ghost of Featherstone Castle

This summer I've read "The Ghost of Featherstone Castle" from Elspeth Eawstron. I’ve

liked this book very much, I understood everything and I could read it well without complications because the words that I didn’t understand I could be looked at the end of the book where are a small dictionary. It is an entertaining and adventures book and I have enjoyed reading it, also I have learned vocabulary and new expressions. Now I’m going to talk about the story, It’s about a boy called Robbie who is 15 years old, he wants to help his parents because they’re going to change to another house but his parents prefer that he goes on holidays to a Castle where there do an sports activities. When he goes there he meet new and very nice people and they say that there is a gost, Robbie starts being interested in that and in the part of the book It’s about the adventures of Robbie and his friend, Heather, discovering the mystery of the ghost. Some characters appear in the book; like Jake, the boy that competes against Robbie for obtain a treasure; Sally, a new Robbie’s friend that likes Harry Potter stories who loves Robbie; Mrs Sumner, appears in the beginning of the story and is the mother of Robbie; Heather, is a girl who helps Robbie for discover the mystery; and Robbie, the principal character.

The parties 2012

This summer I have gone to many parties, of El Plantío, Paterna, La Cañada, and now in September to Mascamarena. In the first, El Plantío, I invited my friends for sleep at night in my home because the site where they were the parties was next to my house. There was a movil disco but the people didn’t dance we didn’t know why… But we were talking with a friends that we don’t see normally and it was well. This parties were three days but we went only two. After we went to the parties of Paterna, we never had gone. The first day that we went all our friends were travelling and then only Paula and I could go, but it was very nice because we met there with other friends and we were dancing all night. Other day we went with our best friends and that night was very very nice and fun too. At first time the parties of La Cañada were not made because of the money, but finally there were two days of party. After the party we went to Ana's house for sleep there. When the school starts will be the parties of Mascamarena, and we will can go and enjoy in our last parties.

Murcia 2012

The last year I went to Murcia in

summer with my parents for four days. I liked very much stay there because I like stay in a hotel near the sea, the beach, the swimming pool… because when I'm in Valencia I never go to this places. This summer we've gone to the same hotel of Murcia, but I don't have gone only with my parents, with Paula too. Every morning Paula and I went out to the beach for to have the brown skin, after we went to the swimming pool while my parent were in the hotel or were going to other beach more away. We were placed between two beaches, one was the minor sea that had a lot of salt and the other was Mediterranean sea. At lunch we met for eat all together. During the evenings we were going to other beach more different than the beaches that we were going frequently, they were natural beaches, one with golden sand and the other with almost black sand, it was curious. At those places the views were wonderful. There we’re playing to beach games like badminton, the disc… or we were taking photographs. In one of them beaches we were there until the sun goes down and then when we were returning to home the gnats come to us to attack and we ran and ran for arrive to our car. Other day we went to the sea with the canoe and we were there all the evening. At nights Paula and I went out to the garden of the hotel because always there was a singer or putting music, at that time we had the most entertaining experiences, we were laughing every nights. It was been a fantastic travel where we’ll can return.

Go, Lovely Rose

The author of this book is H.E.BATES and I’m going to speak about he :

He was born on May 16, 1905 in Rushden, Northamptonshire and educated at Kettering Grammar School. After leaving school, he worked as a reporter and a warehouse clerk.
Many of his stories talk about life in the rural areas of England, particularly his native Northamptonshire. Bates was a great lover of the field and countries and he walked in there and that was his inspiration to write.
The first book published was The Two Sisters.

Plot:
This book has three different stories and I caught the last one, named The dam, because I like more than others.

The story is about a girl named Gerda who is sit in the garden of a hotel, behind in another chair there is man who is looking at her, and he is thinking that she’s very beautiful. The man go to she and they begin a conversation. He think that the women are precious, nice.. and he kiss the girl. During the days they fall in love. Other day they go to the station to see the daughter of the Gerda, but she wasn’t happy. The man, Graham, see her daughter, Linda and he think that she’s very very beautiful and she has his years more or less, not like her mother. In the end Graham and Linda fall in love because they begin to know, they have the similar years… and more. They go to live together and Gerda, the mother is sad…

Comentary:
I like the book because I didn’t imagine how will be the story, because it seemed to end Gerda with Graham but not… with Linda. I like very much the story and the book are easy for read but I didn’t understand some words.

Characters:
This story has only three characters and I like the mother because I think is the sincerest person about the rest and is unfair that in the end she is alone.
